Hi,I want to change 12V bulbs in LED´s in my Athearn-Gas-Turbine.If I use a Digitrax-Decoder with 8-Pin,the LED´s take trouble.With resistor they light,but if I change forward to reward I have trouble-both LED´s light.I have tested all variations for connecting-without success!
Does anyone know, what I must do?
Thanks,Steffen
Decoder is installed with 8-pin-socket-for instance DH 165LO,because I will use funtionsoutput for cablight.
I think,i can use a ( I don´t know the original english word)continnuing- power-source for LED´s to solve the problem???
Try removing the 8 pin plug, rotating it 180 degrees, then plugging it in again.
Good luck!
If the front LED stays on in reverse, then you probably have the CVs set for it to be non-directional. Default is for the lights to be directional, so you might want to try resetting the decoder by setting CV8 to 8 and then try it on address 3. The lights should both stay off until F0 is turned on, and then only the front oen should be on in forward and only the rear one in reverse.
