spectrum heavywieght lighting and dcc?

boy I know this has been ,asked but cant seem to locate in search  . got a set of lighted spectrum heavywieghts (impulse buy),can thease work with DCC ?

Yes.  Have used MRC Prodigy Advance Squared and EZ Command with lighted spectrum heavyweights many times.

 Yes, they work on DCC without any modification.  The biggest problem with them is that they use a single incandescent bulb in the center of each car and a plastic light guide that is supposed to carry the light to the ends.  So you wind up with a bright spot in the center of the car and dark ends.  Chintzy.

 I have burnt out a few of the bulbs in my older HW cars on DCC. I have not gotten the chance to fix or modify them yet.
