Simon is correct. NCE discovered that the Smart Booster (SB3) had some issues with auto-reversers/short detection devices. The most recent news I heard was the NCE has the SB3a designed and tested and it's "in production". According to Larry @ NCE, older SB3s should be able to be updated.

The Smartbooster has been "temporarily unavailable" on the NCE web site for some time now. I read somewhere that they were working on the fix for this specific problem.

I recently read a post here about the smart booster not being compatible with an auto reversing module. I cannot find any other reference to this. Has anyone used the smart booster with an auto reverser and if so, what reverser did you use and did you have to do anything in order to get it to work properly. Thank you for any and all replies.
