Does anyone have a source for edgeboard connector, like the ones Greenway sells for Tortoise switch machines? I prefer using connectors as opposed to soldering wires directly to the Tortoise. I already tried Allelectronics.com out of stock and couldn't find them @ Digikey navigating their website is like finding a needle in a haystack.
Thanks

I started with nothing and still have most of it left!
Ulrich Models has them --
If you are asking if there is a place that you can find them at a price substantially better than the Greenway price, I've not found one. For whatever reason, they seem to be expensive unless you are willing to buy in humungus quantity. I did find the following site which seems to be about the best price, except there is the shipping issue and tax if you're in Pa.: http://www.jimsmodeltrains.com/Search.bok.
Thanks for the info so far Ulrich has the best price $2.95/ea I'm still kicking myself for not buying more when allelectronics.com had them for $1.00 oh well live and learn
Thanks again
Yes, Digi-Key's website is very hard to use Mouser too! They offer to send you a catalog. Ask for one. The catalog is much easier to navigate than is the website.
Find the catalog number of whatever you want, then go to the website for greater details and the latest price.
Click on the "Data Sheet" on the website, you will see everything you want to know about the connector or whatever you are looking for. Most likely the price at Digi-Key will be substantially less than the hobby outlets.
Mouser works the same way, but they are harder to get a catalog from.
Can't say I've had any issues getting a catalog from Mouser - it's getting them to STOP sending them - those suckers are bigger than TWO telephone books.
Sites like Digi-Key and Mouser are designed for electronics people - you have to have some clue on what you're looking for. You can't just type in 1K resistor - you'll get a thousand hits - various wuantities, different ratings from 1/8 watt to 10 watt, leaded, surface mount - 1%, 5%, and 10% tolerances - combine all the possibilities and it's literally thousands. But the advantage is that a place like that is cheaper - for the price you pay for 5 resistors at radio shack you can get 100 from Mouser.
