 Hi Big Smile

Don't mean to pester every one but I am really having a fit with my setup. I'm using a Mac laptop which is new to me and I have not been able to read a decoder with decoder pro.
Power Cab, NCE adapter port, and USB cable hooked to Mac laptop as per diagram that came with USB port.
Power Cab does not have separate programing track so I switch track leads to a short piece of track and turn power cab to program. Is this correct procedure?
Lost in the wilderness.  Confused
