For those who have setup their ditch lights (SD70, C44-9W, SD80, etc) to function separately than the headlight, are you using surface mounted LEDs or did regular LEDs? I haven't yet played around with surface mounted LEDs but I'm thinking of ordering a few and cutting down the light pipes.
Any pictures would be great...
