The reason for the Loksound is that Ulrich models offers custom sound files that will fit this particular loco.  I will email them to see if they offer the same sound files for the QSI

I would like to know if any of you have installed a sound decoder in an Athearn P42.  I hard wired mine so that I could use LEDs and am using a 9 pin JST plug.  I am going to probably order a Loksound decoder from Ulrich Models

If you have any pics showing where you placed the speaker would be a big help to me.  I understand this particular unit is unique as is the prototype.
