I will be using a terminal strip between a Digitrax dcs100 and the track wiring and the power supply. What is the maximum (or recommended) gauge wire that will fit the terminals on the dcs100 unit terminal strip?
I use 14 awg in my DB 150. At my club we use 14awg on the DCS200 and DB 150. The DCS 100 should be able to use the same.
I've tried solid 12 but it's a very tight fit with little or no turn on the screws. 12 also puts a lot of strain on the plug.
14 ga is a much better fit. It should serve your purpose well. Make sure you get a terminal strip that will also fit the wire.

Thanks. Appreciate the help.
The wire from the power supply to the DCS100 and the DB150 is 18ga stranded. The wire from the DCS100 and DB150 to the layout buss is 12ga solid; the layout buss is 12ga stranded.
