Best thing to do is follow the Soundtrax support site. The Bachmanns are different manuals. Still good stuff though.
For manuals they offer these:

Athearn is also going with the stripped down Tsunami version. I posted the Athearn Tsunami PDF sound documents some weeks ago along with a report from a new Athearn diesel user saying only three horns for his diesel Tsunami. Still a great decoder.
I follow the Tsunami discussions in the Yahoo SoundTraxx Group. The Tsunami documents concerning the Tsunami you buy yourself and the Athearn Tsunami are in the Files section of the group.

If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.
Ahh' maybe thats what i read....I stand corrected. thx.
Are you sure you haven't confused Bachmann with Athearn? Athearn has dropped MRC and is going to use Tsunami decoders.
Thought i had read something about Bachmann upgrading the Tsunami in one of the model railroad mags. "Model Railroad News"? And thought well maybe somebody else may have seen it. unfortunely this was at the club and the mag is long gone.
Was thinking they might be adding the full range of bell and whistle sounds which the regular Tsunami has. on the other hand maybe I just read it all wrong.....have a post over at the Bachmann forum requesting any infomation.so heres hoping
Post a source for this rumor with reliable data.
Wondering if theres any truth to the rumor that Bachmann is going with the standard Tsunami sound in in their h.o / on3 lines rather than the abreviated units in their earlier models?
