I tried to run all the engines on my other throttle with the same results so I guess the throttles themselves are okay.

I removed all the Bachmann circuit boards and wiring. I hard-wired the Tsunamis into the existing engine-tender plugs. Everything worked fine until yesterday. I'm not sure what CV resets a Tsunami to zero settings but maybe that will cure the ills.

Thanksfor the help!

Make sure DC is disabled in CV29. Most Bachman locos have a cap or 2 on the light board that needs to be cut. This Capacitor is part of a noise filter and will play havoc with decoders sometimes. Here is a link to confirm this. It is not from Soundtraxx but still needs to be done for any mobile decoder. The information on the cap is near the bottom of the page.

The Dec that does not move but has sound, Mute the volume and turn up the throttle and listen for the motor spinning. I have a 2-8-0 that the gear on the motor shaft was spinning on the shaft.

I pray every day I break even, Cause I can really use the money!

I started with nothing and still have most of it left!

Not sure what the CV on a Tsunami is to reset it back to the default settings but I would start there.

It maybe a stretch but if you have a second throttle try them out using it. On my NCE set up I had several locomotives that I thought were all messed up it turned out to be a defective throttle, just my luck

Just my 2 cents worth, I spent the rest on trains. If you choked a Smurf what color would he turn?

My Decapods Went Crazy!!!!

I have 4 Spectrum HO Russian Decapods that I installed Tsunamis in myself. They were working fine and all sounds and operations were set/re-set to where I liked them. I have had all of them in service for 8-12 months with no problems.

OKAY...............today I went to play with my trains (LOL) and 2 ran just fine. Another one had sounds but no movement. The 4th engine runs wide open with no sounds! Geeze!! My other Tsunami and non-sound engines are working correctly.

Anyone have any ideas on what has happened to my beautiful Decs? Full moon??? HELP!!!!!
