Hey, thanks.

I've been on their site dozens of times, but didn't see that.

After 5 pages of searching, I finally found one US dealer that advertizes them.

DCCTrain in Cincinnati.

I was hoping to get something for about a buck a piece, and these are $8 plus shipping.

I guess it's better than $20. For that, I'd solder the board.

I'd still like to know the proper connector name, if anyone can tell me.

Thanks again.

I found this adapter plate for the 21 pin decoder on ESUs web site. You can solder a harness to it.

 http://www.loksound.com/

You will find it under products and then accessories. 21MTC

I pray every day I break even, Cause I can really use the money!

I started with nothing and still have most of it left!

21 pin connector

Anyone know what the technical name for this connector is?

I know the 6 pin is an NEM 651,and the 8pin is NEM 652.

I bought a bunch of good 21 pin LokSound decoders at the Broadway Limited yardsale, and I'd like to make some harnesses. They are the exact same board as the regular LokSound 3.5, but there is no 8 pin harness soldered to the tiny edge connector. There is, however, a 21 pin pass through sockett soldered onto the place where you can see the board is made to accept one.

I'm not looking for a 21-8 pin adaptor, as the couple that I have seen are surface mount soldered, and  I'd like to use some of the other function leads. Soldering to that adaptor looks just as hard as soldering to the factory location on the edge.

I already have a hand full of 50 and 100 Ohm speakers, so that's not a problem.

Just to gloat, I bought a half a dozen of the decoders, and my average cost was $32.50 each.

Wish I'd had more money!!

Any help appreciated.
