I´ve a PCM F3 A/B units, with Loksound. Two speakers suddenly become noisy, and out of use. They are 28 mm., 50 Ohm. Meanwhile BLI answer me, does anybody know where to get that rare speakers, unlisted in the ESU page?. Thanks
I would check for a loose wire, or damaged insulation before I replaced the speaker. Do you have the means to test the speaker before you replace it?

I´ve tested everything. The speakers has a fritter noise, that dessapear (in part) when I press softly the plastic black cone. The third speaker is OK. All wires are fine too.
An Email to Matt at BLI should get you some speakers. Tonys has the Loksound 100 ohm speakers. They may have the 50 ohm also or can tell you where to get them.

I pray every day I break even, Cause I can really use the money!
I started with nothing and still have most of it left!
Are they 2 50 Ohm speakers wired in series toget the 100 Ohm that the Loksound decoder uses?
Or are they 2 100 Ohm speakers wired in parallel to get 50 Ohm?
I'massuming this is the "smart dummy" setup with 2 in the B unit and 1 in the A.
I've been curious about building my own.
