My 2cents is no.  To me, DecoderPro is the easiest programming interface out there...

I guess what I'm wondering is if the Quantum Programmer makes it easier to program QSI CVs, indexed CVs and any QSI special features rather than using Decoder Pro?  In other words, does the Programmer make for easier understanding rather than what appears on Decoer Pro screens?

I agree with David - I use my PR3 with JMRI @ home and it works perfectly.  Use the QSI programmer with the QSI software only to change sounds.

I have not been able to get the QSI programmer to successfully and consistenly work with JMRI.

I'm familiar with the Programmer's capability in updating sounds and upgrading chips in QSI equipped locos but I have a question about it's benefits in progamming.  Does it offer any advantages in progamming QSI decoders over and above what you can do with Decoder Pro?
