Thanks David and Scarpia,

I'm looking forward to your report.  I've been wanting to try a Tsunami and this might be a good chance, and allow use of the correct loco sound for the S2.

Jerry,

as David mentioned, as soon as I can get the chip and speaker, I'll post up my progress. At this time I'm considering cutting into the metal weights on top of the engine, but a speaker in the cab may be the only real option here.

I'm trying to model 1956, not live in it.

Scarpia
I was talking to the guys at the Soundtraxx booth in Hartford, and they have a new diesel Tsunami with the turbo charged 539 prime mover. This is a major component I've been looking for an Atlas S-2 conversion I have in progress. I hope this is good news to somebody else as well! It should be available within two weeks to order.

Do you know what size this decoder will be?  And have you determined what size speaker you will use and where it will be located?  I've got a couple of these with MRC decoders and would be interested in coverting them to Tsunami.
