I am fairly new to Pordigy being as I have only had it hooked up for several weeks. It is a fairly simple system but I already see a lot of short comings. If you can the LED's on the unit and see if they are alternating back and forth when the loc is doing it's mombo, if so you have a short some where possibly in a turnout. I haven't had any of mine engines do that yet but I did have an engine sitting on a siding that was ideling and for no reason that I can figure out just went into reverse. I would call or email tech support.

Just my 2 cents worth, I spent the rest on trains. If you choked a Smurf what color would he turn?

I am having trouble with the system. The engine surges forward or backward while running. Crossing turnouts becomes troublesome at times. I have cleaned the trackwork and the engine.
