Walthers nscale 0-8-0: Best Decoder?
Posted by mcfunkeymonkey on Thursday, June 4, 2009 1:31 AM

Hello!
Got a Walthers 0-8-0 USRA (nscale) on the way, in the mail.
Just got my NCE powercab DCC system (first time DCCer after 20 years of DC).

Been reading up on decoders and wondering which is the best one for the train & system.

This dude:

 installed a Lenz mini silver.

I didn't know if there were any other options now (tech changing all the time!).

Thanks for the info.

Thanks.  & that is thin enough to fit under the weight?
I'll check it out.
Any special tricks on instillation?
Thanks again!
