I am starting to get my price list for a DCC set. My Question is what is the decoder number that matches the DH123AT without the hardware assembly for the Athearn Blue box locos. I am using the "OLD" Dynatrol system now and most of my locos are wired up for this system. I do not need the Athearn hardware
Thanks

Mike,
The DH123D is what you're looking for:

Steve I had an idea it had something to do with the last number. thaks for your quick reply.
FYI Digitrax Decoder naming: D(digitrax) H,N, or Z (for HO, N, or Z scale) 1(all have a 1 in this place right now) 2, 4, or 6 (number of functions) 3(series 3) or 5(the enw ones with SOund Bug connections). Followed by D for direct wire, Ax for Atlas, Kx for Kato, Lx for Life-Like, AT for Athearn Blue Box, etc. Actually, it's all listed in their decoder manual and also on the web site. Probably also if you ask that question in the 'Tech Support Depot' which is basically a searchable FAQ for Digitrax products.

Randy This means that the DH123ATs can be replaced with the DH123ds and save me some major cash!
Sounds like a win/win to me
davidmbedard The "1" or the number after the scale letter (DH123D) has to do with the amp rating of the decoder. David B

Oh yeah, that's in the instructions too. Although every one of their HO decoders can handle 1.5 amp continuous and 2 amp peak. Hmm, DH1.565L0 anyone?
