I haven't a clue how, but I've got everything working. It's on location 21 somehow, but at least everything is working as it should and I'll dare not to try to change the location anytime soon. I'm really happy with it, now that it's working properly.

thanks everyone, Jeremy

Jeremy, the easy way to change the CV's is with out the Digitrax decoder in the Blue Line. I have a PK SD 8 that shell just lifts off, I change the motor control decoder in it. For the Blue Line decoder, you must use Pd Direct Mode.

I know it sounds like a pain, but it is simple.

The best info can be found on the Broadway limited forums here:

Decoder Problem ..... PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!
Posted by jayres1973 on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 9:13 PM
I have a Broadway limited "blue line". While I programmed a 4 digit address in the decoder using the Digitrax DT400. I then tried to program the sound decoder on the main line in "ops mode". The following conditions exist: 1. I can control the direction and speed. 2. Engine makes chuff sounds in sync w/ speed. 3. I can not control any other of the sound functions! 4. Lights do not work. Should I attempt programming the sound decoder with the shorting plug installed? Any help, Please!!!!
the loco is the broadway limited PRR J1 2-10-4 and the DCC decoder is the Digitrax DZ143PS.

thank you, Jeremy
