bachman shays & climaxes

   ok the climax would be basicly an easy install. the shay would be a real bear to install a decoder  as for the lites i bought some flat leds and iam going remove the lens in  front remove the bulb then drill a hole in the rear housing and run wires down under the bottom of the frame to decoder and try to figure how to hardwire it   the only problem i see is trying find out which wire   goes to what since they all the same color. it time get out meter.

My Spectrum Climax came with LED headlights already installed. I just plugged a decoder into the 8-pin receptacle.

hi  i'am installing tsunami 750 decoders in these loco's with leds  for the lites to work i what caps or resisters need to cut out of the circuit  on the lite boards   or would it  be better hard wire the decoders in.
