Writing to inform all that helped with my club layout reverse unit problem.
We found out that the Lenz auto reverse unit is too slow to trip the reversing with sound locomotives and metal wheels on rolling stock. I did find out that Lenz is planning to manufacture a new reverser that is going to be quicker.
We have replaced the Lenz units with PSX-AR and we have not had any trouble with our layout stopping from the reverse units not auto reversing in the loops.
So at the present time we are up and operating well and thanks to all that answered and gave advice to our problem.
