I have to concur. NCE is a *very* good company in my experience. I purchased my PowerhousePro setup from them in around 1998 or 1999 and have been using it without issue until recently when I got some new locos that programmed differently. I talked to the folks at NCE and they said all I needed was a new EPROM chip which they promptly fixed me up with. I talked to them on a monday and was happily railroading again on friday. I've got nothing but nice things to say about NCE!

Keep up all the good works!

Several weeks ago I was at our club and I moved an item on the layout and a Power House Pro radio throttle took a dive to the concrete floor. Broke the antenna mount from the board in the throttle.

I emailed Larry and told him about the problem and that the throttle is 3-4 years old. He sent an email back and asked me to mail it in and they would repair it under warranty.

I sent it in and paid a few bucks to mail it and in about 10 days received a repaired throttle returned with no extra expense.

Yes, NCE is great and have the best support I have dealt with in the last 10 years with several DCC systems.

Two years ago NCE sent to me, here Argentina, the update chip with 28 functions for my PowerCab, totally free. Excellent support.

Before switching to NCE in year 1999, I used one of the other command control systems, called Dynatrol.  Abbot Lahti owned it and made a great product, but it had a couple of limitations.  Abbott apparently saw the light with DCC coming, and made a dual signature decoder that would pick up dynatrol, through infra red, or NCE/Wingrow DCC.  I bought several decoders at over $50 each and installed them.  I also bought an NCE system, and for a year worked between the two while converting more engines over to DCC decoders.  When the time came to cut over, I was able to take out the Dynatrol command stations, and replace them with NCE, which required no wiring changes on the layout because the Dynatrol wiring requirements were equal to DCC.  I still have a few diesels running with that old dual decoder in them.  Dynatrol was a good system, but limited, NCE opened the world.

NCE not only make an excellent range of very good products they are also a really good bunch of people. I have the NCE 5 amp Pro and I think it's the best on the market. Good to have a good manufacturer with a good attitude.  Barry Cool

My Nce SB3 booster quit working.  Called the tech support number and they told me to put it in the mail and they would look at it.  About 10 days later I got it back with free repair and latest upgrade.  No charge for service or return postage.  In this day and age that is very, very rare.....Can't speak to other mfg'rs of DCC equipment but I was impressed with NCE's tech support....Bob
