The Con-Cor MP15DC has some pretty crude detail and handrails.  I see it listed for around $100.  I would rather get an Atlas MP15DC that you know runs good and is capable of having sound installed. A friend had one a number of years ago, and the running capabilities were OK, but it was not a good switcher.  Look for yourself:

What 'road name' were you looking for?

Con-Cor has the roadnames I want -Atlas and Athearn don't.  I've never had a Con-Cor loco - Is there a problem with them?

Has anyone installed a sound decoder in the Con-Cor DCC HO MP15DC loco?  Just wondering how difficult it is before I finally decide to get one.  Whats involved in doing it?
