My guess is the programming of CV29 didn't take. Try programming the address manually (instead of using the automatic AD2/AD4 on the throttle). If it's a long address, program CV17 and 18, then set CV29.

The other option is usign Ops Mode and programmign on the main. If it still has the short address 03, access it via that address, and then program CV17 and 18, and finally CV29. Once you set CV29, you'll loose control, but you should now be able to select and operate it on the 4 digit address corresponding to what you put in CV17 and 18. There are some calculators online to tell youwhat to put in CV17 and 18 for a specific address in case you aren't sure of how to calculate it.

Programming Tsunami
Posted by RedGrey62 on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 6:26 AM

I just got a Stewart-Bowser U25B with a Tsunami factory installed.  Of course the first thing I did was put it on the programming track (Digitrax) and reprogrammed the address to match the road number.  After putting it on the test track, it began idling, sounds great too, but nothing else, no other sounds, no movement, nothing.  After consulting Soundtraxx website and calling them, they said that I need a Program Track Booster (PTB-100) as the Digitrax program track doesn't have enough power to properly program the Tsunami.  Now mind you, this is not intended to be a rant or complaint.  Just wondering if anyone out there has found a solution to programming Tsunamis, using Digitrax, other than purchasing the PTB-100?

Thanks
