Has anyone successfully converted a DC Bachmann EMD GP50 Diesel in HO scale to DCC? The inside motor and gears are enclosed in a metal chassis.
The current Bachmann drives in the regular line of diesels is pretty poor - I would suspect a decoder is worth more than the engine. Unless you can seperate the motor brushes from the truck electrical pickup - it is not a good candidate. I have never seen a conversion of this unit.
