Passenger car lighting?
Posted by floridaflyer on Thursday, February 5, 2009 1:34 PM

Just got three Walthers heavyweight cars and would like to install the DCC lighting kits also from Walthers. My question is, how much power does each kit require. My layout is powered by a Zepher and I don't want to overload it.I currently run four sound locos and everything is fine. I want to make sure I'm doing the right thing.

The Zepher will automatically shut down if you are using too much juice.

Each light bar from walthers uses 3 bulbs.  I have 10 of them hooked up to an E8 with QSI and I'm not going over 3 amps.
