You need to download and print the post, "Wiring for DCC" and learn to do it yourself.
At 24 x 24 feet square, how in the world do you plan on ever being able to reach into the center of this layout to retrieve derailed trains or even lay track? Personally, I consider this layout to be unnecessarily complex. It seems to be a case of trying to cram as much track as possible into the available space.
Just my for what it's worth. Feel free to bring on the flamethrower.
Bob, I don't want to be difficult, but with that much layout, you are going to have to learn that your self or you may never keep it running. If you don't know why you put the gaps where they are, you may have problems fixing troubles. Also, in HO you have some very tight radius. I assume they are for traction?
This may be asking too much, but I would like a knowledgeable DCC HO modeler to make an enlarged copy of may layout and indicate the position of required gaps and ARMs on this layout, and then repost the diagram. Click on the photo to enlarge it. Click on the photos in the upper right of the enlarged photo to view a series of pictures of my partially completed scenery.
Thanks --- Bob Hahn
