Blinking lights on Prodigy Advance base unit
Posted by excoastie on Friday, January 23, 2009 11:09 AM

I have an issue with my Prodigy Advance unit. The "link" and "pilot" lights blink at the same time when the unit is turned on, and there is no power to my loco. The screen display seems normal. It has been working fine until this morning when the problem started.

I have never encountered this and the MRC troubleshooting guide doesn't address it. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

 Dude,

I think you have a short in your system.  The blinking lights usually indicate that.

Do you have more than one cab in use?  The documentation for my MRC system mentions that a blinking light is also an indication that two cabs are set to control the same locomotive.

I have figured out what is wrong with my brain!  On the left side nothing works right, and on the right side there is nothing left!
