Demar is okay, but the one time I ordered from them it took over three weeks to get my stuff. And this was after I called back several times to find out if it shipped or not.
Mouser is reasonable cost, fast shipping and no minimum orders. I like them especially for speakers. Same ones you get from the DCC guys, for half the cost.
I've used these 2:

www.demarelectronics.com
Both are OK, but neither is necessarily the best price wise. Demar Electronics used to advertise in MR, so I give them points for that.
Have you looked around locally? I had quite forgotten about a place nearby called You Do It Electronics here in Massachusetts. It's about a 20 minute drive. I have to pay sales tax, but no shipping charges, and I can look at the items and take them home with me. Besides, it's fun to walk around places like that.

Ditto on Digikey. Also look at Jameco . I've had excellent service from both for 20+ years.

Mouser wins hands down for me because they do NOT add a surcharge for small orders. Just got a box in the mail today from Mouser with all the parts I need for a Locobuffer and a LocoIO.

I have used Mouser and Digi Key for over fifteen years. All you need to search the sites is patience.
The same with their paper catalogs which are huge.
All Electronics is a surplus warehouse.. Many times people working there have very little knowledge of the small details in the products. They are there to sort incoming material and mail out orders.

If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.
Retsignalmtr I agree that all electronics has a easy navigable website, good prices and a large inventory but I question their knowledge of their products. I called to ask if a bulb was included in their IND10 GR panel indicator and was told in a sarcastic tone "it`s a surplus item I don`t know. On another occasion I was told "we don`t have a customer service dept." what I`d like to know is are they a reliable company or are they like internet trains.
Jim I have found these two companies to have a difficult website to navigate perhaps that is why their catalogue is readily available.
Bob D As long as you surface as many times as you dive you`ll be alive to read these posts.
