MR had an article in the December issue about the NCE Mini Panel. Anybody have any feedback after using this item?

Are you talking about the Power cabs panel? It comes with the Power cab for hooking up to the layout and power supply.

I think he's talking about the new input device that has connections for 30 buttons, toggles, block detectors, etc. and outputs signals on the cab bus.

This is a minor detail, but Model Railroader did not have an article about it, but it was shown in a Tony's Train Exchange ad. The only reason I even mention this is because if someone goes looking for the "article", they may not find it.
Regardless, I don't think the Mini Panel has actually started shipping yet.
Randy and CSX Robert are both correct in their posts. I'll try Tony's this weekend at Trainfest for their input regarding the Mini Panel.

Talked to NCE direct this weekend at Trainfest. Mini Panels are not shipping yet. Best estimate is around the end of the year. They did have displays working and looks to be very interesting. Time will tell.
