You can get auto-reversing modules that will operate with the Express. The Digitrax AR1 has an adjustable trip current from 0.25 to 8 amps. The DCC Specialties PSX-AR series is adjustable from 1.27 to 17.8 amps and has the added advantage of being solid state(it does not use a relay). I'm sure there are other examples also.

 F.Y.I.     After trying to get this module to work, I contacted their Tech Dept. and learned the following:  " Prodigy Express is a starter DCC system and does not have the current capacity ( 1.6A ) to operate the reverse module." - they can supply a 2.5A upgrade for $25.00. ( but the unit has to be returned to them. )
