David,

The information I see on the SoundTraxx web site is that only the LC decoder made specifically to fit into a LifeLike 0-8-0 comes with a speaker and baffle, and none of the others include speakers or baffles.

In case you didn't know, Tony's sells high bass speakers for those for $8. They have baffles for them too.

None of the SoundTraxx decoders include a speaker, so you must purchase that separately.  The speakers are not part of the decoder.

You can see images of each type of SoundTraxx decoder on the Litchfield Station web site at

soundtraxx 101 series

I want to put a soundtrax series 110 series sound decoder in my new spectrum 462 heavy.  soundtrax website makes it sound like you do not need a speaker and that it is in the sound module itself,  all you do is plug it into the 8 pin socket and you are set to go.  Is anyone familiar with this new decoder?  thanks in advance  bwchaney
