I believe there is a screw or two in the battery compartment, after that it's just latches all around. It's kind of tricky to get them all open without marring the case. Have to pry a bit loose then slip in something like a piece of paper and move on to the next latch. I had my DT400 apart just because I wanted to see inside. But then I take EVERYTHING apart, have since I was a little kid. Only now I can usually put them together and not have any leftover pieces.

Remove the battery cover and battery.
Remove the two small screws under battery cover in the lower corners.
Slide the rear half up about a 1/4 inch to unlock the tabs. Lift the back from the front taking care not to damage the small wires connected to the battery terminals.
All UT and DT throttles come apart the same wa.

I can't answer your question. That said, I kind of try pretty hard not to ask questions that might offend someone, so that's not my intent here. But if were me, I suppose I might ask myself "what is it that I expect to fix if I can't figure out how to get it open?"
