Broken solder at the motor?  Broken wiper, although only one wouldn't cause a complete failure.  Is it DCC?  Is the plug from the tender inserted properly or fully?

Are you sure power is getting to the rails?  A multimeters confirms that the rails under the engine have power?

There is no short indication on your power station?  Sometimes axles get installed backwards from their correct orientation or in the wrong slot.

Other than that, not a clue...sorry.

Trix Big Boy Trouble Help??
Posted by Railcon44 on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 6:04 PM
I need some help here. I'm just beside myself. I cleaned my Trix Big Boy and now it will not run. I've checked i think everything. Tender wheels are in right, i hardly used any oil on the axles, as a matter of fact i cleaned alot of oil that must have been put there from the factory. I checked to see if the shoes were making contact with the drivers and they are. The wire going to the shoes are intact and look good. I don't know what else to look for. Any one that might have an idea, please post?? I'm really lost here.
