MRC decoders
Posted by richg1998 on Sunday, June 29, 2008 10:47 AM

I just saw a sale for four new Roundhouse steamers. The seller has a store and must have had them returned as they are sold "as is".

I replaced the MRC decoder in my 4-4-0 and now only buy DCC Ready.

Some others have had success with the MRC decoders so your mileage might vary.

If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.

I've had a couple of bad experiences with MRC decoders and my best advice is to stay away, far away.

I have 4 different model MRC decoders w/sound. All have shortcomings.

2 are useable - 2 are not.
