You can build your own jump throttle from this link :
http://www.tonystrains.com/technews/zephyr-cab.htm
On the Digitrax Yahoo.com support forum you can find a diagram for a battery operated version that is too simple but requires a passing knowledge at following diagrams. 8 components all told.
Art, you can use one or two regular DC cabs as dcc throttles with the Zephyr. You will need to connect the variable DC output of the cab to the Zephyr's GRD and either Jump 1 or Jump 2 slots on the terminal strip. Make sure that the DC cab is turned on after you do this.
To select the locomotive for the DC cab, you press the Jump button on the Zephyr once for Jump 1 (Jump LED will come on continuosly) or twice for Jump 2 (LED will blink). You can then select the locomotive with the Zephyr and turn on any functions you want on. The locomotives speed and direction will be controlled by the DC cab, even after you exit the jump mode by pressing the jump button until the LED is off.
You can use just about any DC cab, even the cheap toy set ones, as there is no real load on them. Have Fun!

Its been a busy day on the railroad - major breakthroughs in getting my trains finally moving.
I programmed 2 locos today, I have a zephyr system, what is the procedure to operate two or more trains at once? My train friend said something about being able to toggle one of the buttons back and forth bwt trains?
Thanks
