This topic came up a little while back. It had some interesting links and input.

To my knowledge Wolfgang is the first to pull this off.

Wolfgang Dudler published a great and highly detailed article on this in Scale Rails a few months back. Scale Rails is a great reason to belong to the NMRA. The speaker was mounted, as I recall under the motor, he removed the weight to make room.

David,
Could you provide more detail regarding the baffle you used or point me to another thread? I understand the concept, I'm less sure of the exact execution. I'm using this decoder right now in my project on an S3
Thanks,
Mark

David -
Any pictures available of that install? Which speaker did you use, and what sounds?
TIA,
Paul
Has anyone succeeded at putting a decoder with sound in the Bachmann GE 44? With decoders for N & Z scale so small, I would think that a sound decoder might fit in the '44.
I am a novice at this, and am trying to plan for the future of my layout and rolling stock.
