Digitrax DH123AT decoder to 8-pin plug, possible?
Posted by Thommo on Thursday, April 24, 2008 6:57 AM

Hello, I have DH123AT decoder which I want to install in loco equiped with NMRA 8-pin socket. Does Digitrax have some wire harness that could substitute harness provided for Athearn locos?

Thanks.

It looks like they do: JST 9 Pin Harness 3.25" to 8 pin NMRA plug (long wire) and JST 9 Pin Harness 1.25" to 8 pin NMRA plug (short wire).

These items at: Empire Northern Models.

Several brands of substitute wiring harnesses are available from the various DCC dealers, in varying lengths and configurations.  I get mine from Litchfield Station in Glendale, Arizona, but Tony's Train Exchange and others also have them.
