Size of DCC Specialties PSX4?
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, April 21, 2008 10:48 AM

Right now I am trying to layout a wiring sub-panel for my layout.  I will eventually be purchasing a DCC Specialties PSX4 (http://dccspecialties.com/products/pdf/man_psx1.pdf) and I need to reserve space on my sub-panel for this/these item(s).

I have found that the PSX1 is approximately 2.5" x 5" (measurements rounded up) but I can't find any size information on the PSX2, PSX3, or PSX4.  Are the multiple units just additional quantities of the PSX1 unit or are they all on one board?

Your feedback is appreciated.

Thanks,
-John

John,

The PSX4 is pre-scored so you will be able to seperate as many of the units as you desire from the main assembly. It is just a little bigger than 4 times the size of the PSX1 as there are bands of excess material about 1/8" wide between the units. I broke mine apart with a pair of needle nose pliers and placed them in different areas of the layout.

Don,

Thanks.  This is exactly what I needed to know.

Thanks again,
-John
