There have been a lot of recent postings on the MRC Yahoo group about building your own extension boxes, something I'm going to look into myself once my move is complete and layout back in place.

Hello Raybo

If I understand you correctly no, that cable to the extension box from the command station is all you need, you only need another cable if you want to add another extension box to that one. Natuarly you will need a cable to each handheld, but you can plug two of them in the same extension box.

Hope this helps.

MRC Extension Boxes for Prodigy Advance

I would like to use Extension boxes for Prodigy Advance, it comes with one cable and the diagram shows a serial connection.  My question, if I want two controllers to be used at the same time do I need extra cables and y connectors so that I can run two sets of wires to each extension box?

 Thanks!
