Sometimes, it's actually quite nice to be wrong

I felt, in the progenitor thread to this new forum, that I wasn't hopeful and that I didn't think it would happen.  Let me assure you that this is one time when I will bend over and happily take a couple of good natured kicks to the backside.

I encourage those of you who were clamouring the loudest to make it happen to take some ownership, not the least being pride of ownership, and keep the place clean and safe for all who enter.  This will be an important step to assure it of longevity.  Just a thought.

Lastly, full credit goes to Kevin for his impeccable timing, his nose for a good thing, and for initiating the whole discussion.  My congratulations go out to him. Big Smile [:D]

Blush [:I]

Sometimes it pays to be the squeaky wheel.  I couldn't have pulled it off without the support of all the guys who voted for it in the discussion thread, Crandell, (selector), Tom (tstage) and of course Eric, (Bergie)!  Thanks all for making it happen!  I just got back in the "saddle" after having day surgery and let me tell you THIS is the best get well card I could have received!

I hope everyone who participates in this forum can do so in a friendly and mature fashion.  I certainly don't want this to end up being the egg on anyones face!  I'll be the first to run screaming for a moderator if people can't be reasonable and contribute in the spirit of learning and comraderie. Present company included!

Lets treat this forum like a place of learning.  Keep it on topic and remember there are kids in the crowd.  Take all the "horse hockey" to the diner or some such place.  Thanks.

Now lets get WIRED! Wink [;)] Or at least back on topic!
