Can you convert an Atlas 0-6-0st from DC to DCC?
The reason I'm asking is because I looked on spookshow and it said you cannot convert it.
Mr. LMD, Owner, founder
The Central Chicago & Illinois Railroad
I would say YES it can. I would be looking at the TCS Z2 decoder.
I did one of these several years ago using a Lenz Silver mini decoder. I think that the TCS Z2 is even smaller.

Even for N scale?
Yes, even N scale.
woodone Yes, even N scale.
What locomotive is the decoder normally used for?
Mr. LMD woodone: Yes, even N scale. What locomotive is the decoder normally used for?
woodone: Yes, even N scale.
Any locomotive that requires a very small size decoder and has a current draw that is compatible with the decoder.

Do you know any decorder that would fit in my 0-6-0 locomotive?

Sorry, I'm not familiar with that particular loco. Look inside your loco and determine how much available room you have and then research Digitrax, TCS , NCE and Lenz to see the size of their small decoders. Just because it says it's an N scale or Z scale decoder doesn't mean you can't use it in an HO loco if the max current is OK. Woodone gave you a couple of very good choices.

I will and the only DCC controls I have is Bachmann.
