Has anyone used The Automatic Block Signaling (ABS) Master carried by NJ International Signals. I beleive a company called TD or TDA produces it.
Has anyone installed signals and used this product. I'm interested in your feedback.

The product works as advertised. With the straight optical sensors you sometimes get a bad signal trip with tank cars since they allow more light under the train. The sensors also do not work in a dimmed or darkened room. I haven't tried the infrared sensors but have heard that they are better.

Check Rob Paisley`s circuits. They are a lot cheaper and will do the same thing. Make sure the circuit you are looking at matches the configuration of the signal you are going to use. NJ international, & Tomar use common anode, Others use common cathode (Intergrated Signal systems) among others.If you just want ABS then Rob has a board that will do 5 blocks one way, He has a nice optical board that will detect LOW even though it is not on his website and this works for 4 blocks.

The cables come pre-made. They are 6-10 feet long. You can easily lengthen them if needed.
It also allows you to configure common cathode, and anode and also has wiring for searchlight, 2 and 3 led signals.
