As seen below the new Bachmann 2-6-6-2 and i'm sure its older brother as well have a very bright yellow LED headlight, Having several Richmond Controls sunny white LEDs I wish to replace it with, should be a very simple straight forward job but thought i'd ask and see if there were any special tricks or things i need look out for.
I don't have any of the Bachman steamers with the yellow or orange light but I do have a few BLI steamers with them. So far I have done my M1b and J1 with a sunny white. It makes a big difference. Getting the board out that has the LED on it was the hard part.

I pray every day I break even, Cause I can really use the money!
I started with nothing and still have most of it left!
If there is an exploded view in the manual it should be fairly straightforward (might be time consuming though) to get at the LED. Should be a straightforward swap, just watch the polarity and test it BEFORE putting it all back together.
