Hi! I have a DCC/Sound Bachmann 2-8-0 with Tsunami sound. The problem is that the locomotive speed is too fast for the sound. What cv's do I need to change. P.S. I checked the CD that came with it.

. On page 32-34 it talks about setting the Auto Exhaust mode and rate.

I answered you in the Layouts. Try CV 116 and input a first value of 180. If that is too slow, try 190, and so on.

I think the problem is the motor. The sound is fine.
