Thanks for the quick response. I am happy to learn that a new book on the Cincinnati Northern is available. It appears to be exactly what I have been looking for.

From my Railroads of Madison County website http://madisonrails.railfan.net/

A new comprehensive book on the Cincinnati Northern has just been released.

"A History of the Cincinnati Northern Railroad" By Dr. Jim Brown is 339 pages, soft cover. 9x12 size with copious pictures throughout. The book covers the genesis of the road, motive power, some of the rolling stock. There is info on all 56 depots towns and stations complete with track diagrams, elevations, ETT's from 1800's to 1956 with anecdotes from past employees, family and more.

Here is some additional information supplied by the author:
The book contains about 100+ pictures, (locos, cars, depots bldgs, peopel, etc) 60 track plans (some for each station) half a dozen
pages showing elevation of track one end to the other...half a dozen maps etc, Lotsa ETT info, and even text!

The cost is $45.00 +$5.00 s&h. Make out your tax deductible check to:
The Little Falls Railroad & Doll Museum
9208 CTH I I
Sparta, WI 54656-6485

I have no connection with The Little Falls Railroad & Doll Museum, but present this book for your consideration as the Cincinnati Northern was a Big Four controlled company. Direct Link: http://www.raildoll.com/

Is anyone modeling the Cincinnati Northern Railroad. This was a NYC branchline that ran from Cincinnati to Jackson, Michigan along the western side of Ohio. I am particularly interested in the northwestern Ohio section from Van Wert to Bryan. Thanks for any information that anyone may have.
