UP MT-73- coal vs. oil tenders

Hi, there.

Looking for info about the UP MT-73s- either direct or indirect. Was looking at the Locomotive Cyclopedia Vol. I, and found an article about the MoPac MT-75s, but haven't found the UP versions.

Regarding the UP MT-73's- when were they (and if only some, about what proportion) converted from coal to oil?

Where did they tend to be used- plains or mountains (may seem like a silly question, given their name, but just checking...)

Suggestions for sources to read up?

Engine numbers 7850 to 7859 were built as oilburners for UP subsidiary road Los Angeles & Salt Lake. As far as I'm aware the remainder of the class burned coal throughout their service life.
