What you really need to do is acquire the back issues of the Soo Line historical society's magazine for the towns or cities that interest you. They do a very good and thorough job on a town by town basis, usually with photos and maps
Other good websites with photos and information:

Thanks actionplant
Yea I looked at the SLHTS and I plan to order the Soo Standards books, some depot plans, and the locomotive and freight car posters. I will also look into that museum but I doubt I will be able to make it out there in the near future. I haven't been out that way in a while.
If you have the chance I would like it if maybe you could post some pictures of Soo Line stuff that you have. I hope to get a railimages account soon so I can post pictures of my models up here on the forum.
Thanks again
John

Have you checked the Soo Line Historical and Technical society?

I love Soo Line as well. Used to watch the lines down by the river in my hometown (I'm still sort of there, just live on the other side of the river now).
Here's the museum that was just down the road from my church when I was a kid, they had lots of great Soo Line stuff there and should be able to point you in the right direction:

There are a few Soo cabooses here and there on abandoned sidings around my area, I know of three for sure behind a grain elevator that is serviced by a newer track, I can definitely try to get some pictures for you of some different Soo Line stuff from around my area if you're interested.

I am planning to build a Soo Line layout and I want to be as close to the prototype as possible so I am looking for some track diagrams of towns I could model. If anyone has any or information about the Soo Line please post it.
Thanks
John
