i onl ever saw the blowers once i would like to see how it turns out if you doo decide to make them that would be vary interesting

Thank you to all for the extra insight.
It might be time for a half-hour drive to Tunnel Hill => It has been quite some time since the last visit!
The tunnel steam blowers will make an interesting scratchbuilding project.

You might try contacting the tunnel museum at Gallitzin. May or may not be a lead.

The blowers at the time of the pictures were electric powered. They were controlled from AR tower.

I think and the operative word here is think that either Rails Northeast or the previous publication Pennsy Journal covered them in some detail but you are probably going to have to use pictures as a primary source. There is a good one in Pennsy Power two of a train coming off MUleshoe with them in the background.

Does anyone have a source of the plans, and/or other pictures, for the old steam blowers from the Pennsy's steam era at the East Gallitzin and Allegheny Tunnels?
