A fair percentage of CSX road slugs were rebuilt from GP35's from various sources and still resemble a GP35 except for the lack of radiators, fans and exhaust stack.
The daily commute is part of everyday life but I get two rides a day out of it. Paul

Guilford has some running on the B&M & MEC. Numerous ex-SP GP35's have been rebuilt to GP38 specs and are running on shortlines & regionals, but retain the appearance of GP35's. CSX may have some running. Wheeling & Lake Erie has a large fleet of ex-Southern high-nose GP35's running. UP may have some ex-DRGW GP35's running.
