Mark, the books "Great Northern Pictorial" Volumes 6 and 7 cover GN's
freight operations in depth. These books are by John F. Strauss and
published by Four Ways West. I highly recommend them.

I have found some information on-line and in print about passenger schedules for the Great Northern c. 1950s. However there is not very much about freight schedules or patterns for the Lines West (i.e., Montana and points west). Does anyone have any advice on sources of information? Thanks (in advance).
